About Dmitry Kirichenko

Dmitry Kirichenko started his musical career at the age of 6 when he was accepted into the Stolyarsky School of Music. His determination and brilliant artistic ability earned him recognition and acceptance into one of the higher education institutions in the world, the Moscow Conservatory, class of Professor Boris Zemlyansky, which lead to his graduate studies of Odessa Conservatory, Ukraine professor, Lyudmila Ginsburg. After finishing all Studies, he received PHD equivalent degree in three categories: Soloist, Orchestra Leader, Piano instructor.

Kirichenko tenured 15 years as the Creative director and Vice President of the Music School for Children of Odessa, Ukraine. Upon arriving in US in 1989, he become a member of the Music Teachers Association of California and National Guild of Piano Teachers. Dmitry become a president and primary piano instructor of the Kirichenko School of Music in San Diego, where he offers private instruction for children, music major and adults.

Dmitry had performed in US and Overseas. His California concerts were held at University of San Diego, Scripps Research institute La Jolla, the Lyceum Theater SD Poway Center for Performing Arts, Palomar Performing Art Centers and in eastern, and western European Cities.. He has released a series of CD's which encompass performances of history favorite composers. Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven Shubert, Chopin, Listz, Tchaikovsky, Debussy and Rachmaninov. After his performance in France, music critic Claude Taelman described his playing as "warm sensitivity Heightened by his delicate touch and great technical mastery." Now, 35 years later, Drnitry Kirichenko continue performing for San Diego music lovers as well as teaching student's appreciation for Performing Arts.
