Steinway is famous for art-case pianos with built in piano-roll player systems from the 1920's. This extraordinary model M is no exception. The double pedestal legs and burl walnut inserts are truly beautiful. The roll-player system has been replaced with a Piano Disc player system and the section that housed the old player is now used for software storage (a very clever and useful idea).
